How to set up a FREE website and earn EASY money from it!

The internet today is rapidly expending every minute with thousands of websites going up every year and millions of users everyday so why not become a part of it?

Numerous websites on the web offer services such as social networking profiles, blogs and even a website you can make using their own tools - but have you wanted more? Do you want complete control over what your website is about? The majority of these websites force you to show their advertisements within your pages, making a tidy sum for your hard work.

I have found a website that will offer complete range of services that a paid host would, for free. The website is called 000webhost that gives you as a user, almost complete control over your website for absoultely free!

The sign up process is simple and easy; It only takes a day before you can have your fully fuctioning website. FTP access, MYSQL and more allows us to create websites using Joomla, WordPress or simply your own webpages created by you. I have my own site hosted here and running 24-7, with very little downtime. The main advantage for using their service is they don't post pesky advertisements on your page but instead they allow us to post our own such as Google Adsense. Across all my websites hosted there, I have made over £60 from my adsense account alone and have been paid in full. I have bought domain names for all my websites so far but they offer free sub-domains if you don't. The advantage of having your own is they give you 5 free email accounts so your email could be admin@example.com or whatever you'd like! Below I have compiled a few simple steps to get you started:

1. Setting up your website

Sign Up to 000webhost and create your account. It may take a day for it to be processed (Spam abuses these services). Once it's set up and ready, start deciding what content you want on your website. A blog? A games website? Forum? Decide what you are going to do, upload it to your website via FTP and try it out!

2. Setting up a Google Adsense account

I have chosen Google because of their reputation as a company and I use a number of their services already (Analytics, Gmail) but other ad services may work better for you. You can set up an account with your existing Google account if you go to www.google.com/adsense. Please not that they will only accept you if you already have decent, appropriate content on your page so make sure you have something their already.

3. Buy a domain

This step is not essential but if you intend to get more visitors and increase your websites reputation. I use www.123-reg.co.uk for buying my domains - they're cheap, friendly and fast. Once you have bought your domain and it has been settled out, you can forward the domain to your 000webhost website. To do this, you'll need to change your settings in your 123-reg account to match the ones at 000webhost - it's quite simple.

4. Advertise your website!

This is the biggest and most fundemental part to any website aiming to increase their traffic. The first step to do is to make sure you have submitted your websites to all the major search engines; Google, Yahoo, Ask, etc. Make sure you have relevant keywords and description in your part of your website code, this helps bots get the relevant information out of your website. The most effective way of driving traffic to my website was forums and Youtube. I have joined several major forums and I'm a regular poster on quite a lot of them, how does this help me? My signiture. At the end of each one of my posts is a link directing them to my websites and because people are naturally curious, they visit. I further exploited this by donig several videos on Youtube, small things such as game reviews, how-to's and at the end of each video I posted a link to my website. Websites such as Facebook, Twitter and more, can be a key source of traffic but if you aren't popular on these websites eg: having 0 followers on Twitter, this will not help. I highly reccomend you try out some of these, I know this section is rather short but I will be writing another article purely upon this subject because it is so in-depth.

If you do all four of these steps, you will have a popular and potentially profitable website - but remember, fame and buckets of money take time, so don't expect your website to be a hit on the first day or the first month. Building a reputation is key!

Simples!
